LEGISLATIVE ALERT: STOP THE MEDICAL MALPRACTICE INCREASE:

HB 224 by Rep. Edwards proposes to drastically increase the cost of medical malpractice coverage in Louisiana to which we strongly oppose.  The bill is scheduled for Monday, June 1st. in the House Committee on Civil Law and Procedure in House Committee RM 2. LEGISLATIVE ALERT: STOP SMOKING IN BARS, RESTAURANTS AND CASINOS:

HB 844 by Rep. Smith proposes to prohibit smoking in bars, restaurants and gaming establishments which we strongly support.  The bill is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2nd to be debated on the House floor for final passage.
