Please mark your calendars to join us at the LAFP Annual Assembly of 2009 at the L'Auberge Du Lac Resort in Lake Charles, LA, July 9-12, 2009. The Assembly’s continuing medical education programs will provide you with over 20 CME hours while providing you the opportunity to enjoy visiting with colleagues and learning about the latestest up to date information that will allow you to enhance patient care and improve outcomes. Make plans to join us at the fabulous L'Auberge du Lac Casino Resort for this important CME meeting, and enjoy all this resort has to offer adults as well as children! Accreditation
This program is being reviewed for Prescribed Credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. This includes evidence based credit. AAFP Prescribed Credit is accepted
by the American Medical Association (AMA) as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, prescribed credit earned must be reported as prescribed credit, not as Category 1.
Program Objectives
This activity is designed for the specialty of family medicine, but may also be of educational interest to the specialties of internal medicine, pediatrics, other primary care fields and physician assistants. It is designed to introduce providers to the latest information, techniques and technology applicable to office-based patient care through didactic lectures and interactive discussions. Upon completion of this program, participants should have a working and aplicable comprehension of these topics. Specific objectives for each topic will be included in the participant syllabus.

Registration fee covers CME offerings, syllabus, daily continental breakfasts and coffee breaks, as well as one complimentary ticket to the Installation Luncheon and the Laissez les bon temps roulet on the Bayou party. Additional tickets and Guest Registrations can be purchased at a nominal charge. See Social Events Order Form for pricing. Early full registrations receive a $25.00 discount if received before June 1, 2009. On-site registrations will be assessed a $75 on-site fee, in addition to regular registration fees.
