DHH Selected as Part of National Initiative to Increase Health Coverage for Uninsured Children

Louisiana is one of eight states, from a pool of 28 total applicants, that will receive funding and support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to increase enrollment of eligible children in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program - called LaCHIP in Louisiana - and keep kids enrolled as long as they are eligible. Louisiana State Tar Wars Poster Contest – Friday, May 15th!

The LAFP Foundation is gearing up for its 2009 Tar Wars Poster Contest! This year's deadline to submit winning posters to the LAFP is Friday, May 1st. The statewide poster contest and reception is scheduled for Friday, May 15th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and will be held at LAFP Headquarters. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded.
