A few months ago, American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) launched AAFP Connect for Reform—a new e-advocacy campaign designed to give AAFP members an inside look at the healthcare reform debate in Washington, D.C., and offer easy ways to get involved.

“I want to personally encourage all LAFP members to join this campaign.

As family physicians, we have an incredible opportunity this year to influence the healthcare reform debate. We must work together to let policymakers in Washington, D.C., know that enhanced primary care is the key to fixing our broken system. We need your help.

We need to work extra hard to ensure improved primary care for our patients remains front and center in the healthcare debate. Please join us!”
