Web-based Toolkit Focuses on Safe and Secure Health Information Exchange

The Health Information Security & Privacy Collaboration Provider Education Toolkit (HISPC-PET) is a federal initiative launched in January 2009 that focuses on safe, private and secure electronic health information exchange (HIE) technology for providers.

The LAFP is encouraging its members to check out the Web-based toolkit at www.secure4health.org that provides information on HIE and tools and resources to help physicians get connected electronically. Join the thousands of providers who have made the choice to get connected.

The LAFP is asking members to please review the Web site and provide any feedback on the Web site by e-mailing LAFP staff member Mary Catherine Koonce.
