At the December 8-13, 2008 meeting, the Board of Directors will fill vacancies on seven commissions and five AMA Delegation positions created by expiring terms of members. There are 12 commission openings and three chapter staff openings. As a result of the 2008 AAFP restructuring efforts, the number of members of the AMA Delegation will be reduced.
At this time, nominations are requested for five positions on the AAFP Delegation to the AMA and all seven incumbents are eligible for re-appointment to another term. Nominations to serve on 2009 AAFP Commissions and for AMA Appointments are due to AAFP Headquarters on Oct. 15, 2008.
