Attention Students and Residents: 2009 National Conference Scholarships Available

Be recognized for your talents and skills as a future family physician. Apply for a $600 scholarship to attend National Conference in Kansas City, MO, July 30 – August 1.

Scholarships are made possible by the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation Resident and Student Initiatives Fund and individual and corporate sponsors, including pharmaceutical companies. The number of scholarships in each category varies according to the level of funding. Scholarship availability is subject to change.

You must be a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and may only apply for one scholarship annually. Your application, with the required essay or report, must be received via fax, e-mail or postmarked no later than May 1.

The winning essays for the First-time Student Attendee Award, Tomorrow’s Leader Award and minority scholarships will be distributed at the conference.
