The 2011 regular Legislative session began on Monday, April 25, 2011 and will adjourn on Thursday, June 23rd. The LAFP Legislative Committee met last week to review the list of bills. 841 bills--590 in the House and 251 in the Senate--have been filed. We will be following 38. Throughout the 2011 Legislative Session, the LAFP will be sending out "Legislative Alerts" to our membership. We may ask you to call your representative and let them know what our priorities are for this session.
