Annual Members Assembly

altEach summer, members of LAFP come together to determine the policies and priorities of LAFP for the following year. In addition to the business and committee meetings held throughout the weekend, the conference also offers CME on topics of current importance to the approximately 100 members in attendance.

The 65th Annual Assembly and Exhibition will be held August 2-5, 2012, at the Baytowne Conference Center, Destin, FL.


Exhibits
Exhibiting at the Members Assembly is another great way to get exposure for your company with Louisiana's family physicians. Exhibits are available at $1400 per booth space on Thursday, August 2-Saturday 4, 2012.  Exhibitors will receive an 8X10 booth with draped table, chair and final attendee list. Exhibiting companies will be recognized in on-site program materials; on signage displayed at the meeting; and in a post-convention issue of our quarterly magazine, The Louisiana Family Doctor (circulation 2,000).

LAFP seeks unrestricted educational grants for the CME sessions. A grant enhances the quality of our program by off- setting honoraria, travel expenses and other expenses related to obtaining a highly respected faculty and delivering quality education. In recognition of each company's support, LAFP will credit that company as an Educational or Hospitality Grant Supporter in on-site program materials; on signs displayed at the meeting; in a post-convention issue of our quarterly magazine, The Louisiana Family Doctor (circulation 2,000) and in a post-meeting edition of The Weekly Family Medicine Update, our weekly e-newsletter (circulation approximately 1,500).
