Student and Resident Conference

altThe Family Medicine Student and Resident Retreat serves as a forum for students and residents to network with others interested in family medicine while gaining exposure to speakers, topics and procedural skills that they might not have access to during medical school or residency training.

The 2011 Family Medicine Student and Resident Retreat was held February 26, 2011, at the Louisiana Resource Center for Educators. Thank you to all who helped make that a success!

LAFP seeks unrestricted educational grants in the amount of $500 to $1,000 to help offset expenses associated with the program. Company sponsorship will be recognized in program materials, signage and articles about the event that will be published in The Louisiana Family Doctor, our quarterly publication (circulation 2,000) and The Weekly Family Medicine Update, our weekly e-newsletter (circulation approximately 1,500).
