White Coat Day

White Coat Day is key to physicians’ success in the Louisiana Legislature and the need for physicians' voices is growing. Issues concerning health care are becoming increasingly complex and the policy makers need to hear from physicians as more and more challenges are being faced at both the state and federal levels.

Support
Support for the LAFP White Coat Day will help offset the costs of registration supplies, breakfast and lunch for the physicians who participate. In return for this support partnership, the supporting company will have on all signage for the event in the rotunda of the Capitol Building- the busiest level of the Capitol. LAFP typically has four signs on easels in the rotunda as well as placeholders on each table for the healthfair labeling each screening available. At the bottom of each placeholder the LAFP logo as well as the supporting partner's will be printed. Supporting partners will be recognized on the LAFP website, www.lafp.org, the e-newsletter Weekly Family Medicine Update, and the quarterly magazine Louisiana Family Doctor.
