You can make a difference in the health of your community by educating as many children as possible about the harmful effects of tobacco use and generating awareness of the deceiving nature of tobacco advertising. You can be a role model in your community and help to encourage children to celebrate, promote, and enjoy tobacco-free lives.
 
Benefits of Tar Wars at Your School
The Tar Wars presentation is designed for 4th and 5th grade students to teach them how to make healthy anti-tobacco choices.  The presentation is fun and encourages class participation.  The curriculum is followed up by a poster contest where the students develop their own anti-tobacco message.  The Tar Wars program is a fun and fully developed anti-tobacco program that generates enthusiasm among the students.  The program is designed for the presentations to work in conjunction with the poster contest allowing the anti-tobacco message to be reiterated throughout the school year.  The best part of the Tar Wars program is that the presentation is FREE and the poster materials are proved by the regional or state administrators.
