National Procedures Institute

The National Procedures Institute (NPI) was founded in 1989 by John L. Pfenninger, MD to provide medical education (CME conferences) on procedural skills for primary care clinicians. In 2008, Dr. Pfenninger sold NPI to a joint venture of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

Our chapter is proud to partner with NPI to provide you an exciting opportunity to bring new procedures to your practice and to generate revenue for your state Academy at the same time. When you attend an NPI course, NPI will send $50 to the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians.
