Louisiana Family Doctor- Journal CME The Education Committee of the LAFP is requesting your submission of articles or case studies for CME credit in the Louisiana Family Doctor magazine. Your article should be no longer than 2000 words (preferably shorter but we understand that certain topics need more in-depth treatment). We also welcome tables, graphics, etc. Please title your article. A current CV or short biography must accompany the article along with a suitable photo. Readers ( including physician authors of CME articles) who complete and return, to the Academy office, a CME quiz will obtain the number of credits offered in each edition (varies from .5 to 2 credits). This is an easy way to obtain credit at no cost – value-added benefit to our physician readers. We ask that authors submit along with their articles between three and five questions to be used in the CME Journal Quiz.
Online CME- The France Foundation ManagePainCME.org features educational activities that offer valuable resources for clinicians about the importance of appropriate use of pain management and abuse-deterrent technologies to reduce opioid misuse and abuse. Physicians may now participate in a Web-Based CME Lecture from your home or office with the Distance Learning Grand Rounds web portal, which contains on-demand webcasts recorded at live CME activities. For more information and to participate, please go to www.managepaincme.org

National Procedures Institute The National Procedures Institute (NPI) was founded in 1989 by John L. Pfenninger, MD to provide medical education (CME conferences) on procedural skills for primary care clinicians. Want more from your practice? Invest in yourself by learning new procedures from NPI and have the practice you’ve always wanted! Our chapter is proud to partner with NPI to provide you an exciting
opportunity to bring new procedures to your practice and to generate
revenue for your state Academy at the same time. When you attend an NPI

Visit NPI online at www.npinstitute.com to view course descriptions, learn about NPI’s outstanding faculty, find a course in our area and register. Don’t forget to enter the name of our state in the Referral Code field during the registration process and start getting more out of your practice with NPI.
