LAFP Weekly Family Medicine Update Changing Dates! |

The LAFP has changed the date of the weekly newsletter to now be sent on Tuesday of each week. Get Resources to Stop the Medicare Cuts! |

As you know, Congress last summer
acted to temporarily rescind the 21 percent Medicare physician pay cut and to
add a 2.2 percent increase to what Medicare pays you for your services. However,
on Nov. 30, the current temporary "fix" to Medicare physician payment
will end. That means on Dec. 1, this year's scheduled 21 percent reduction as
well as the 2.2 percent increase that was part of the current Medicare
patch, will end.
