LAFP offers leadership training through opportunities on committees as well as our Board of Directors. By being an Academy leader, you will have a voice and vote on key issues affecting the family medicine specialty. LAFP provides opportunities for both Resident and Student members to coordinate statewide activities for the fellow family medicine colleagues.

LAFP Resident & Student Leadership Committee (RSLC)
Mission Statement: The mission of the Resident and Student Leadership Committee (RSLC) is to provide a forum for resident and student members of the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP) to meet and discuss successes, issues, concerns, problems and potential solutions encountered in resident and student life. In addition, the mission of the RSLC is to develop leaders, from within its ranks, to serve as resident and student members on the LAFP Board of Directors.
