The Department of Family Medicine and Comprehensive Care at LSU Health Shreveport, School of Medicine in Shreveport is seeking dynamic and innovative full-time physicians at the Assistant Professor-clinical level to join our diverse and dedicated faculty. Desired candidates should have established excellence in teaching and clinical care. Applicants must qualify for a Louisiana license and be ABFM certified. Credentials must satisfy Faculty Promotions Committee of the School of Medicine and the Board of Supervisors of the LSU System. Experienced in Obstetrics desirable but not required.

Job Summary:
As a member of the faculty at the LSUH-S Family Practice Residency in Alexandria, Louisiana, you will be expected to precept residents and students, complete evaluations on residents and medical students, be actively involved in continuing education sponsored through the Family Practice Clinic, give and support didactic lectures through the Family Practice Clinic, and generally support the mission and goals of the Family Practice Residency in inpatient and outpatient medicine in Central Louisiana. Your duties and responsibilities may require travel to and from additional LSUH-S clinics in Louisiana. The distribution of your duties will remain flexible and as directed by the Program Director and the Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine.
