 invites you to attend a CME presentation titled\, <strong>“Hepatitis B in 
 the US: Disease Burden\, Prevention\, and the Goal of Elimination.”&nbsp\;
 </strong></p>\n<h3><strong>Learning Objectives</strong></h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Ph
 ysicians are trusted providers within their community and will be able to 
 provide disease and immunization awareness to their community members and 
 patients.</li>\n<li>Physicians will be able to leverage the updated ACIP r
 ecommendations to ensure eligible patients are getting vaccinated against 
 Hepatitis B\, leading to higher vaccination rates.</li>\n<li>Physicians wi
 ll be able to integrate the immunization\, screening\, and testing recomme
 ndations for hepatitis B and use them to better serve their patients.</li>

 r. Gomes joined the Dynavax Medical Affairs team in 2022 and currently ser
 ves as Senior Medical Science Liaison for the South region. Dr. Gomes join
 ed Dynavax from Oxford Immunotec\, where he was a Medical Science Liaison 
 responsible for the expansion of their COVID-19\, TB\, and CMV pipelines i
 n the Americas. Previously\, Dr. Gomes has served in multiple R&amp\;D rol
 es\, such as a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Microbiology and Drug Delivery a
 t the University of Texas at Austin and Senior Scientist roles at Thermo F
 isher Scientific and Le Bonheur Children’s Foundation Research Institute. 
 Dr. Gomes earned a BS and MSc. in Biotechnology from the Federal Universit
 y of Pelotas in Brazil\; he started his PhD in Infectious Disease &amp\; I
 mmunology at the same institution and came to the US to finish his trainin
 g at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.</p>\n<h3><strong>R
