The 76th Assembly will offer great education and important opportunities for family physicians to connect, learn and see how new technologies will impact the future of medicine.  Please join us for the following social events during the 2023 Annual Meeting.

Be a Pro for a day! Support the Foundation’s fundraising effort while playing 18 holes (shotgun start) at the spectacular Audubon Golf Course. Play is open to all registrants, guests and supporters. Cost is $150 per person, includes green fees, cart rental and prizes. Transportation to and from the course will be provided. Participants are asked to meet in the hotel lobby at 2:00 pm.

This year's Annual Assembly will kick-off with a Welcome Reception. Join us for a Mardi Gras Mambo filled with fun and live music. No ticket is required to attend this event but an RSVP with a count of those planning to attend is needed. Buffet style dinner and open bar will be provided.

The LAFP Foundation is holding a prize drawing fundraiser. We have lots of prizes to be given away. Purchase a sleeve of 5 tickets for $25 and choose what prize you want to enter to win. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase. Simply drop the number of tickets into the box or boxes for a chance to win that prize. Tickets will be drawn until a winning ticket is pulled. Must be present to win. Tickets and corks can be purchased at the Registration Desk or from any LAFP staff member.

There will also be a Wine and Whiskey Pull this year. Attendees can purchase a cork for $25 throughout the conference. On the evening of the President’s Party, the holder of the cork will pick the corresponding numbered bottle of wine or whiskey. Prize Drawing and Cork Pull will be held During the President’s Party on Friday, July 21, 2023.

Join us for the Awards and Installation Ceremony where LAFP's new officers will be installed. This ceremony will also spotlight the 2023 LAFP Family Physician of the Year and other awards celebrating 76 years! Full registrants and registered guests each receive one ticket to this event. Daily registrations do not include admission to this ceremony. Ticket prices are $40. Additional tickets may be purchased by visiting the Registration Desk prior to Friday at 12:00 pm.

We will continue the celebration with the President Party and Foundation fundraiser! Food and drinks are endless as you dance the night away!

Let’s not forgot the purpose of the night! Check out the Foundation drawing and enter for a chance to win some amazing prices. The Foundation raises funds to provide education like the Student & Resident Track free of charge to those that are the “Future of Family Medicine.” The Foundation also provides many other scholarships and awards to students and residents throughout the years among other initiatives, therefore the prize drawing hosted at the Annual Assembly is one of the main fundraisers for the Foundation.

A buffet dinner will be served and a live band provided. Exhibitors, spouses and guests are also welcome to purchase tickets for this fun event. RSVP is required and entrance will be by ticket only. Full Paid Registrants and Guest Registrants receive one complimentary ticket to this event. Ticket prices are $50 per ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased by visiting the Registration Desk prior to Friday at 12:00 pm.
