Learning Objectives

  2. Review the pertinent, updated guidelines for common pulmonary conditions.
  3. Review the signs and symptoms of common pulmonary conditions.
  4. Review the indications and dosing guidelines for new pulmonary medications.

Fidencio Davalos, MD

About the Speaker:

Fidencio Davalos, MD, is a fellowship-trained pulmonologist/critical care physician with Memorial Pulmonology Associates.

Before arriving at Memorial, Dr. Davalos practiced at Harlem Hospital – New York Health and Hospitals, which is an affiliate of Columbia University and at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He is board-certified in critical care medicine and board-eligible in pulmonary medicine. Additionally, he is skilled in utilizing the Intuitive Surgical Ion endoluminal system for robotic-assisted minimally invasive lung biopsies.

Dr. Davalos has a bachelor in arts from Eastern New Mexico University. He received his medical degree from Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. His post-graduate training includes an internal medicine residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York, a fellowship in critical care medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital-Icahn School of Medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Harlem Hospital – New York Health and Hospitals.

CME Accreditation


The AAFP has reviewed 2025 Monthly Webinar/Grand Rounds Series and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Terms of approval is from 1/20/2025 to 12/23/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Credit approval is for 1.00 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed Credit(s) and includes the following session(s): “Pulmonary Year End Review – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.”
