You are invited to join us for LAFP's Legislative and Advocacy Training and White Coat Day at the Capitol!
Plan to attend a full-day to learn the tools necessary to successfully and effectively communicate with your legislators about issues affecting the specialty of family medicine. Attendees will also gain insight into the 2019 federal and state legislative agenda and put those skills to use in the afternoon when speaking with their legislators.

White Coat Day is designed to provide free health screenings to legislators while discussing important issues and concerns affecting the health of your patients.
Participants in White Coat Day will:
- Make a difference for the future of family medicine
- Learn about the challenges health care issues face today
- Inform legislators about the issues important to you and your patients
- Attend committee hearings and House and Senate sessions
