The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP) invites you to submit one or more applications to present at an LAFP Annual Assembly and Exhibition. The 73rd Annual Assembly and Exhibition is scheduled for July 28-August 2, 2020 in Destin, Florida at the San Destin Golf and Beach Resort.
Submission deadline is Friday, January 10, 2020.
Proposal applications must be submitted electronically via the proposal site by Friday, January 10, 2020. Notification of an application’s acceptance or non-selection will be sent via email in January 2020. There is no limit on the number of application submissions.
Faculty Reimbursement Policies
Annual Assembly and Exhibition: Faculty Honoraria and Reimbursement Policy
Applicants who are selected to present will receive:
- $500 per hour, per topic for presenting
- Coach-class airfare from and to the faculty home destination
- Ground transportation and airport parking
- Up to $50/day for food (receipts required for expenses over $25.00)
- Hotel accommodations (reimbursed by LAFP)
All compensation and reimbursement will be paid to the faculty member in the form of a check issued by the LAFP once a completed faculty reimbursement voucher is submitted. Voucher is due within 30 days after the activity.
