Active members are required to report 150 credits of CME every three calendar years as a condition of continued membership. Once members have met the re quired 150 credits, they are “re-elected”. CME credits can be logged into your CME Dashboard to check the number of credits required for re-election. You will have until December to log your CME activity.

Be sure that you are capturing all activity that counts toward re-election. Examples include:

• Professional enrichment: limited to 25 AAFP Elective credits
• Advanced training: limited to 25 AAFP Prescribed credits
• ABFM or AOA certification: limited to 25 AAFP Elective credits
• Scholarly activities: limited to 100 AAFP Prescribed credits
