The AAFP is excited to announce that applications are now open for a new cohort of the Resident Well-being and Burnout Prevention ECHO for family medicine residency programs.

This program is part of AAFP's "Physician Health First: Building Resiliency Intersectionally During Graduate Education (BRIDGE)" grant supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Resident Well-being and Burnout Prevention ECHO will upscale resident knowledge and skill through short didactics, network knowledge sharing, and case-based learning across eight videoconferencing sessions from February–May 2024. Each session will provide a safe, confidential environment where residents can come together virtually to learn more about burnout and well-being.

Please share with your members that the AAFP is currently recruiting family medicine residency programs committed to sending at least three residents to each session during the spring. This is a great opportunity for chief residents and residents who are looking for well-being opportunities. Applications are due Nov. 30.
