Gauge Dec 2022Merriman-Webster defines “future” as an expectation of advancement or progressive development. What a great characterization of our family medicine students and residents! Our students are progressing to matriculation to a family medicine residency program while our residents are advancing to their future practice endeavors. As an organization, the LAFP offers programming that promotes networking and engagement opportunities that promote family medicine as a specialty.

The funding that supports the programming is provided through the LAFP Foundation. Experiences and connections are so important for our residents and students. Bringing them together with our Active members provides valuable networking opportunities that help them fully experience all that LAFP membership offers.

Please consider supporting our efforts so that we can advance our commitment to family medicine in Louisiana. 100% of the donations to the Foundation are used for our student and resident activities.

You can make your gift via our secure online form.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation and is the only charitable organization in Louisiana that exists to improve and increase access to health care by investing in the specialty of family medicine. Federal Tax ID 58-1757802. For more information, please contact Lee Ann Albert, phone: 225.923.3313 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
