The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is promoting a new grant opportunity of up to $250,000 for eligible U.S. healthcare organizations with family medicine practices to lead an independent quality improvement initiative focused on VTE.

Organizations are invited to bring forward evidence-based projects that improve VTE recognition, reduce diagnostic delays, strengthen treatment adherence and persistence, and enhance patient education. The opportunity is designed to help organizations implement practical, data-driven improvements that translate into measurable gains in clinical performance and patient outcomes.
