The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians cordially invites you to attend a CME presentation titled, “An Overview of Vascular Disease in Primary Care.”

- Explain the screening criteria and management plan for AAA
- Be able to manage DVT in hospital and outpatient settings
- Learn more about PCSK9 inhibitor and future practice

Program Faculty

Kabiul Haque, MD, MPH, MBA
About the Speaker:
Dr. Kabiul Haque is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the LSUHSC, Shreveport, LA. He is the co-director of population health for Northwest Louisiana, Ochsner LSU Health System. In addition, he is serving as the residency research director of the Family Medicine Residency program.
Dr. Haque completed a BSc in biology, a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is currently completing a Master of Health Administration from LSU Shreveport. He completed his Family Medicine residency from LSUHSC, Shreveport, in 2020. During his residency, he served as the program's chief resident.
Dr. Haque encounters patients both in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Besides clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Haque is involved in scholarly activities. He has published articles in national prestigious journals. He also published articles in vascular disease and AAA in leading primary care AAFP journals. Dr. Haque has presented various topics in the past at different national conferences in the last few years. He is currently serving as one of the faculty members of the educational advisory committee for the American Association of Family Physicians.
CME Accreditation
The AAFP has reviewed 2025 Monthly Webinar/Grand Rounds Series and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Terms of approval is from 1/20/2025 to 12/23/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Credit approval is for 1.00 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed Credit(s) and includes the following session(s): “An Overview of Vascular Disease in Primary Care.”
