The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians cordially invites you to attend a CME presentation titled, “Childhood ADHD in 2023.”
Learning Objectives:
- Learners will be able to better identify the clinical presentation of ADHD in children and feel more comfortable making a diagnosis.
- Learners will be able to distinguish ADHD from other disorders of childhood.
- Learners will understand treatment options for ADHD.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Kristine Olivier is a board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist originating from Opelousas. She graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans then completed her medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in 2008. She completed a General Psychiatry residency at LSU-Ochsner’s joint program in New Orleans then returned to LSU School of Medicine to complete a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She served as Chief Resident for both residency and fellowship programs. Dr. Olivier is recently returning to the Lafayette area after having worked for four years for the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she served as training director and Vice Chair for the child psychiatry residency program. She also served as Chief of Child Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital. She is currently co-owner of the private practice Bloom Mental Wellness, where she sees patients of all ages in the outpatient setting.
