The 74th Annual Assembly and Exhibition was held July 22 – July 25 at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Baytowne Conference Center in Destin, FL.  Overall, there were 103 attendees and 41 exhibitors. 

This year’s conference offered a hybrid format for attendees and speakers to attend the meeting virtually. Attendees enjoyed a robust CME agenda of 17 hours of Prescribed credit led by local and nationally known faculty.   

Diamond Sponsor, Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, hosted a luau themed Welcome Reception on Thursday evening for attendees, their families, and exhibitors.  Our members came together for General Assembly on Friday.  During lunch, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield, attendees received annual updates from American Academy of Family Physicians, Aledade and Blue Cross Blue Shield.  The President’s Party, sponsored by Diamond Sponsor, Blue Cross Blue Shield, took us “Under the Sea” on Friday evening.  LAFP member, Dr. Will Maranto and his band, What the Funk, provided musical entertainment for the evening.
