The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is now accepting applications for three loan repayment programs. Are you a primary care, dental, or mental and behavioral health provider working at a NHSC-approved site? You could receive up to $100,000 to pay off your student loans.

1. National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program (NHSC LRP) – awards up to $75,000 in exchange for two years of service to primary care providers in eligible disciplines, including physicians and women's health providers; and up to $50,000 for non-primary care eligible disciplines, including dental and behavioral health providers, at approved sites in high-need, underserved areas. NHSC LRP recipients are also eligible to extend their service for even greater debt relief.
2. NHSC Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Workforce Loan Repayment Program (NHSC SUD Workforce LRP) – provides up to $75,000 in exchange for a three-year commitment from health care professionals who provide substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services at NHSC-approved SUD treatment facilities.
3. NHSC Rural Community Loan Repayment Program (NHSC Rural Community LRP) – Providers in rural communities may apply to the NHSC Rural Community LRP, which awards up to $100,000 for three years of service to providers who treat substance use disorders (SUD) at NHSC-approved SUD treatment facilities in rural communities.
