Join the Louisiana Department of Health on Thursday, October 8, at the Bienville Building in Baton Rouge for the Louisiana WIC Summit. As we work to strengthen and reimagine WIC in Louisiana, we know that some of the best ideas come from the people who are closest to the work, our clinic leaders, healthcare providers, authorized retailers, and community partners. This Summit is an opportunity to bring those voices together, review where we are today, and identify practical strategies to better reach and serve Louisiana families.

During the Summit, we will share state and parish-level WIC trends, engage in breakout conversations tailored to the different roles our partners play, and focus on strategies that we can put into action. Most importantly, we want to hear from you about what is working, what is getting in the way, and what we can do differently together.
