ochsner uq fmig making connectionsThe LAFP was excited to partner with the Family Medicine Interest Group at UQ Ochsner to host a procedural workshop for their medical students.  The students received hands-on instruction and demonstration in various procedures including musculoskeletal ultrasound and IUD insertion led by residents and faculty from East Jefferson, Kenner, and St. Tammany Family Medicine Residency Programs.  This event also provided the students time to talk with the representatives regarding their program. Funding from the LAFP Foundation provided snacks for the group.
