The LAFP is excited to recognize resident member, LeaAnn A. Love, MD, as our November Member of the Month. Born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Dallas, TX, by her parents Lee, Sr. and Carol Love with her two older brothers, Lee, Jr and LeDell. Dr. Love attended undergraduate at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with minors in Biology and Mathematics, all while receiving a full tuition scholarship as a first-generation college student. She graduated from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2023. She is currently a PGY-2 resident at the Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Residency Program.
