On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the LAFP hosted the Greater New Orleans Area Grand Rounds and Member Social. Our members enjoyed visiting with friends over cocktails before the dinner presentation hosted by the East Jefferson Family Medicine Residency Program at Nuvolari’s in Mandeville. The speakers for the evening, Caila Knighton, MD and Amy Galiano, MD, Program director, hosted the presentation, “A Pain in the Leg: When We Get It Wrong”.

We also introduced our new Partner in Family Medicine, TMF: Southcentral CMS QIN-QIO, Region 5.  LaNeidra Williams, MBA, BS, RDH, Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist provided a brief introduction of TMF and the services they have available and are offering to our members.

We were also excited to recognize the following members for their membership anniversary with the LAFP:
